About
Elizabeth Blessing (b.1995) is a Boston-based artist. She received her BA in Studio Art at Boston College (2017) and her MFA in Studio Art at Tufts University/School of the Museum of Fine Arts (2022).
Blessing's drawings and paperworks explore ecological systems, mythological imagination, and the relationship between the human body and the natural world. Working with colored pencils, paper, and installation she creates intricate compositions from branching lines, geometric structures, and botanical forms. Her work draws inspiration from natural systems and processes, folklore, and sacred geometry.Through these visual languages, Blessing investigates ideas of transformation, interdependence, and the hidden structures that connect living beings within shared environments.
